First stone
Diving into MILDISS, the future four-star hotel, which will open in the summer of 2019 in Besse (Puy-de-Dôme)
In the Massif du Sancy, only Mont-Dore had until now a four-star hotel. An exception that will soon be corrected since within a year, the south of the massif will also have its establishment of standing. MILDISS, a name that echoes the altitude of the hotel, will open in July 2019 in the village of Serre-Bas in Besse.
Puy-de-Dôme: what will look like "MILDISS" the four-star hotel in Besse?
A 4-star hotel "MILDISS" will open in the summer of 2019 in Serre-Bas, a commune in Besse-et-Sainte-Anastasie (Puy-de-Dôme). The bearers of the project have symbolically posed, Friday, October 26, the foundation stone of the establishment.
A luxury hotel with clean forms
The establishment will have 32 rooms and all facilities corresponding to its category: meeting rooms, a wellness area of 200 m2 and sports halls, not forgetting a Bistronomique restaurant with 70 seats.
Designed by architect Issoirien Jean-Jacques Eragne from Atelier 4, the hotel, with its sleek elliptical shape and its materials in wood and raw concrete, is intended to integrate into the landscape
Project leaders passionate about the Sancy
The three promoters of the project Sébastien Bertrank, Xavier Verdy, two former ASM players and Pierre Verdier, seminar organizer, are aiming at both business tourism and the usual tourist clientele.
"The creation of this hotel is above all a way for us to invest even more in this area we have loved for 30 years" says Sebastien Bertrank.
Overall cost of the investment: just over 5 million euros, including more than 1 million grants (Europe, County Council, Regional Council Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). The rest is financed by twenty shareholders and bank loans.
